In order to evaluate the adaptation of spring oilseed rape hybrids, 40 spring hybrid of oilseed rape with RGS003 cultivar were planted at Agricultural Research Station of Gonbad during 2007 2008. The experiment was a randomized complete block design with three replications. The beginning of flowering of the hybrids was delayed until Apr., due to low temperatures during Jan. and Feb. H.1100اShiralee and H.308اHylit201 hybrids had the highest days to physiological maturity (184 days), and H.1000اBalero and Hyola401 hybrids had the lowest days to physiological maturity (182 days). Generally, in all genotypes, the number of pods per plant and the number of seeds per pods were low. The effect of genotype was significant on 1000-seed weight at the 5% level. H.1064اH.1064 hybrid had the highest 1000-seed weight (4.6 g). The mean 1000- seed weight of Hyola401 and RGS003 was 3.7 and 3.4 g, respectively. The effect of genotype was significant on seed yield at the 5% level. H.1016اShiralee, H.1100اNoresman and H.1973اShiralee hybrids had the highest seed yield, that was 972, 956 and 889 kg/ha, respectively. The mean seed yield of Hyola401 and RGS003 genotypes was 350 and 544 kg/ha, respectively, that was considerably lower than the potential seed yield of those genotypes in Gonbad area.
