One of the most effective and economical methods of prevention sugarbeet cyst nematode (Heterodera schachtii) damage is crop rOtation. Therefore during the years of 1993-97 a five years rotation with non-host plants were 5x10 each. Every year bafors and after each crop the nematode population were determined and reproduction index(Rf= PF-PI) was estimated.The resuits showed that treatments including : Barley, Pea, Sorghum, Cucumber - Bean,Wheat, onion, Corn - Alfalfa for 4 years - Barley, Falfow, potato, Wheat were reduced the POPulation by 94.29%, 93.90%, 93.70% and 63.10% reSpectively crop yields in treated plots were: 50.98, 47.56, 48.43 and 43.57 tons per hectare respectively in comparizon with 22.57 T/ha for the untreated control. The statistical mean yield difference between treated and untreated plots was significant at the 1% level. The trap crops are used for control of this nematode by trapping the 2nd stage juveniles in root system. Therefore during 1998 growing season some cultivars of Raphanus sativus var. oleifera cv.Remorna. Sinapis alba C.V. Martigena, Rsmonta+Martigana Brassica napus CV.cerese and an untreated control were compared in a complete randomize block design with 5 treatments and 4 replications. plants were grown after the harvest of winterwheat and were collected 90 days later. The results showed that in all treiments except cerese pf/pi<1 and reduction percentages of Pf overPi in Remonta,MamgElna. Remonta+Manigana and untreated contrOl were 71, 67, 72 and 27 respectively and these differences were all significant at the 1% level.
