ارزیابی واکنش لاین های گندم مقایسه عملکرد مقدماتی، پیشرفته و امیدبخش یکنواخت اقلیم معتدل ‮‭1384-85‬ ‭(85-84-PRWYT, ARWYT, ERWYT-M) ‬نسبت به زنگ زرد

Evaluation of Reaction to Yellow Rust in Lines of Preliminary, Advanced, and Elite Regional Wheat Yield Trials of Temperate Zone (pRWYT, ARWYT, & ERWYT-M-84-5) Stripe (Yellow) rust is the most important disease in most wheat growing regions in Iran. In 2005-06 cropping seasons, 20 line ofERWYT-M, 40 lines of ARWYT-M and 180 lines ofPRWYT-M were tested for resistance to stripe rust in adult plant stage in the six sites. In the field all lines were planted in two rows of one-meter length with 30cm distance under artificial inoculation. A susceptible wheat cultivar (Bolani) was planted as spreader around the field and between the rows. Field assessments were based on disease severity according to the modified Cobb scale (Peterson et al., 1948) and disease reaction (Roelfs, 1978). The resultes showed that 7 lines ofERWYT, 16 lines of ARWYT and 40 lines of PRWYT were resistant in all sites. In seedling test with pathotypes 134E134A+, 2 lines were susceptible (M-84-11 and M-84-16) and remaining lines were resistant. Among ARWYT lines, 12 lines were susceptible in seedling stage, which 4 of those in adult plant stage showed resitsnt. On the base of these resultes this four lines carried adult plant resistant gene/so.
