In order to assess the ecological adaptation and forage production of Crimson clover in comparison .them with the other of clover cultivars in different planting dates, an experiment was carried out with 12 treatment, with four replications in RCBD at Karaj, Dezfoul, Hamedan and Isfahan regions. In this study planting dates were considerd as main plot in four levels (dl= 23 Aug. , d2= 6 Sep. , d3= 23 Sep. , d4= 7 Oct. ) and cJover cultivars as subplot in three levels (vI= Crimson clover, v2= Berseem clover, v3= Persian clover ). The results of combined analysis of experiment demonstated that effects year, location, year x location, planting date, year x planting date, location x planting date (except dry matter yield) , year x location x planting date, cuJtivar, year x cultivar, location x cultivar, year x location x cultivars, planting date x cultivar, year x location x planting date (except fi'esb yield) , location x planting date x cultivars and year x locationg x plant date x cu1tivars were significant different for fresh, dry matter and plant height. Mean comparison of planting dates in years and locations also showed that there were not a significant difference for fresh, dry matter yield and plant heitht betwen different planting dates, but dl=23 Aug. with 63.43 Tha-1 fresh yield, 11.90 Tha-1 dry matter yield and 50.66 cm plant height was the best treatment. Overall, years and locations, Berseem clover was the superiority with 79.49 Tha". ftesh yield (the same group with persian clover ), 15.26 Tha-I dry matter yield and 68.30 cm plant height. Meanwhile mean comparison of the interaction p].~nting date x cultivars .s~owed that dl v2 with 85.71 Tba"1 fresh yield, d2v2 with 6.09 Tba-1 Dry matter yield and 71.29cm plant height were the best u"eatmellts.
