Social media and English language learning are nowadays two close concepts. This study was aimed to investigate the perception of EFL learners towards the role of a very novel social media application called Clubhouse in English language learning. ۱۳۴ Iranian English learners answered a three part questionnaire containing ۳۱ statements. The results for the first part of the questionnaire exhibited that participants agreed but not strongly that Clubhouse could be regarded as a platform applicable for educational purposes. The second part of the questionnaire and the answers showed that the participants almost agreed but not strongly that Clubhouse could be applied as a social media platform for language learning. Furthermore, the results of the last part of the questionnaire gave the idea that it is perceived by language learners using Clubhouse that it helps them improve the language skills related to oral interaction including listening and speaking. All in all, since most EFL learners know that their learning improves through more interaction, they perceive Clubhouse as something effective on their language learning especially in listening and speaking skills.
