A report of two novel cyanobacterial species from Aphanocapsa for flora of Iran

In summer ۲۰۱۳, phytobenthos and periphyton cyanobacterial samples were collected from Sirch hot springs which are located in ۵۰ Km of southeast of Kerman city (Iran) with coordinates of ۳۰° ۰۹´ ۴۴˝ N and ۵۷° ۳۵´ ۵۰.۰˝ E (Fig. ۱A). Aphanocapsa rivularis, A. delicatissima are new species for Iran flora. The species of Aphanocapsa genera which have been reported previously from Iran are: Aphanocapsa grevillei (Berkeley) Rabenhorstby Faghir & Shafii (۲۰۱۳), Soltani et al. (۲۰۱۲); A. incerta (Lemmermann) G. Cronberg & Komárek by Ramezanpoor (۲۰۰۴); and A. crassa Ghose by Tahami (۲۰۱۳).
