Background Analysis Process of Professional Ethics from the Viewpoint of Education Professionals and Student-Teachers

چکیده مقاله:

Professional ethics is considered as a fundamental element of the education system experienced by most education professionals in a field of action, i.e. while doing their duties in the schools and further teaching. In this regard, the present research aims at the process of background analysis of professional ethics from the viewpoint of education professionals and student-teachers. The present qualitative study has been carried out based on the grounded theory approach. The statistical population of this study consisted of ۲۴ education professionals and student-teachers of Farhangian University who were selected by purposeful sampling, which continued until data saturation was achieved. Data collection was conducted through semi-structured interviews. The findings obtained from the interviews showed that seven axial categories of professional commitment, professional development, participation, motivational factors, beliefs and conceptions, personal factors and environmental role have been achieved with regard to the background of professional ethics. The results obtained from interview analysis indicate that professional ethics is the basis of the education of a country, and the lack of commitment to it will impose a lot of damage on the community. Therefore, the government should pay attention to this while policy-making.
