چکیده مقاله:

Writing is the process of communicating thoughts and ideas in a clear and readable way using symbols such as letters, punctuation, and spaces. So, Writing is a physical and mental activity (Nunan, ۲۰۰۳). It is significant to study writing not only as a product of an individual, but also as a cognitive, social, and cultural behaviour. The present research considered the significant effects of peer-monitoring in writing activities for undergraduate students of TEFL writing skills. In this research, we were supposed to investigate peer-monitoring effects on ۱۷۳ male and female university students’ writing activities whose ages ranged from ۱۸ to ۲۷, and they had a composing description writing paragraph as pre & post-test in the same conditions.
