Control of chaotic Rikitake system by use of changing physicalstructure of system

In this paper we want to investigate and control thechaos Rikitake system. The Rikitake system is a model whichattempts to explain the irregular polarity switching of thegeomagnetic field. The system exhibits Lorenz-type chaos andorbiting around two unstable fixed points. The frequency of thepolarity reversals depends strongly on the parameters u and athese parameters are two main parameters of the structure ofsystem. In this paper we by use of, changing the physicalstructure of system, adjust the u& a and change behaviorchaotic of system to a stable system, in other words we want tocontrol chaotic behavior of system by use of changingresistance coil wires of Rikitake system. Numerical simulationsare given to illustrate the effectiveness and validity of theproposed approach.
