Slow tourism is a travel philosophy that puts an emphasis on social responsibility while valuing the environment, cultural identities, and historical contexts. By allowing them to coexist, it offers a wide variety and fosters relationships between tourists and residents. A journey would be more enjoyable if people took the time to slow down, interact with others, and take in their surroundings. The Advantages of slow tourism Even though many writers focus on the benefits and justifications of slow tourism from an environmental standpoint, almost all of these come from sustainability principles, which are divided into social, economic, and environmental dimensions. I looked over the published literature to give a thorough definition of the topic. In order to better understand the concept of "slow tourism", I first review the published studies in this study.A number of common traits can be found in most definitions. The entire picture, which is necessary to fully comprehend this new category of tourism, was not accurately captured by earlier definitions, despite the fact that they did highlight some of the fundamental components of slow tourism. In order to conduct a systematic review of the subject using a specific search strategy in the Scopus database, I lastly went through the body of published literature on slow tourism.
