The role of Multimedia Storytelling on The Progress of Elementary School Students' Social Studies Course

چکیده مقاله:

The present study was conducted with the aim of investigating the role of storytelling-based education in a multimedia way on the progress of elementary students' social science lessons. The research method was practical according to the goal and according to the collection of quasi-experimental data with a pre-test-post-test design with a control group. The fourth grade female student was an elementary school student who was selected by available sampling method and randomly placed in two groups (control ۱۱ and experimental ۱۱). To measure the progress of students in the social studies course, a researcher-made academic progress test was used, and for the content validity of the academic progress test, the judgment of experts was used, and to determine the reliability of the academic progress test.In this research, in the first session after the pre-test, from the control and control groups, the multimedia courseware based on storytelling created by the researcher was worked with both groups of students during six sessions. results were analyzed using the analysis of covariance statistics method, which showed that. Therefore, it was concluded that teaching based on storytelling in a multimedia way is effective in improving the progress of the social science lesson.
