چکیده مقاله:

Objective: The objective of this study was to investigate the effects of an ۸-week intervention program involving corrective movements on injury prevention among amateur weightlifters in the city of Hamadan. Methods: A sample of ۵۰ amateur weightlifters aged between ۱۸ and ۲۵ years was randomly assigned to two groups: the intervention group (n=۲۵) and the control group (n=۲۵). The intervention group underwent an ۸-week training program consisting of corrective movements specifically designed to target common musculoskeletal imbalances seen in weightlifting. The control group, on the other hand, followed their regular training routine. Results: Data analysis revealed a significant reduction in the incidence of injuries among the intervention group compared to the control group (p<۰.۰۵). Specifically, the intervention group had a lower occurrence of common weightlifting-related injuries, such as strains and sprains in the shoulder, knee, and back regions. Conclusion: The findings of this study suggest that an ۸-week intervention program involving corrective movements can effectively reduce the risk of injuries among amateur weightlifters in Hamadan. The implementation of such training programs can potentially enhance the overall safety and well-being of amateur weightlifters, thus enabling them to participate in the sport with reduced risk of injury. Further studies are warranted to explore the long-term effects and sustainability of these interventions.
