چکیده مقاله:

The integration of garden products on external green walls has gained popularity in urban environments due to its numerous benefits. However, managing weeds, pests, and diseases in these systems is crucial for ensuring productivity and sustainability. This review explores effective strategies for weed, pest, and disease management in the production of garden products on external green walls. Pre-planting measures, mulching, regular maintenance, and selective herbicide use are essential for weed control. Integrated Pest Management (IPM) approaches, including identification and monitoring, cultural practices, biological control, and targeted pesticide use, are recommended for pest management. Disease management strategies involve plant selection, sanitation practices, cultural practices, and the cautious use of fungicides and biological controls. By implementing these strategies, gardeners can mitigate the negative impacts of weeds, pests, and diseases, ensuring successful production on external green walls while promoting sustainable urban agriculture.
