چکیده مقاله:

For centuries, the practice of hypnosis has been utilized to prepare patients for medical procedures and to alleviate pain. In this article, we are aiming for the rich history of hypnosis in the realm of clinical medicine and dentistry. Through various forms of investigation, including the assessment of hypnotic susceptibility, it has been determined that one's ability to experience the benefits of hypnosis is a relatively consistent trait that can be easily measured. Furthermore, research suggests that this aptitude for hypnotic response is largely inherited. Although alternative therapeutic approaches may prove advantageous for individuals with limited hypnotic capacity, the majority of medical patients will reap benefits from the incorporation of complementary hypnotic techniques into their dental and medical treatment. The conclusion of this essay highlights the effectiveness of hypnosis in healthcare, backed by strong evidence, and emphasizes the importance of qualified and proficient hypnotists.
