چکیده مقاله:

This research provides an overview of the reliability assessment of Virtual Power Plants (VPPs) incorporatng renewable energy resources and batery energy storage systems (BESS). VPPs have emerged as a promising soluton for efciently managing distributed energy resources. The reliability assessment focuses on evaluatng the ability of VPPs to meet energy demands while considering the intermitent nature of renewables and the state of charge of batery storage. Key aspects of the assessment include analyzing the availability and reliability of renewable resources, assessing the performance and degradaton characteristcs of BESS, and implementng advanced control algorithms for optmal power flow. Fail-safe mechanisms, redundant systems, and intelligent monitoring technologies are also considered to mitgate potental failures. Uncertaintes in energy demand and resource availability are addressed using Monte Carlo simulatons and probabilistc models to quantfy reliability metrics such as loss of load probability and energy curtailment. The assessment fndings aid decision-making in VPP planning, design, and operaton, allowing stakeholders to optmize resource allocaton and enhance reliability.
