چکیده مقاله:

The most successful factor in students’ growth is motivation in the process of acquiringknowledge, behaviors, skills, attitudes, values, relationships and understanding priorities.Psychological interventions and prevention services of developmental challenges and thepromotion of well-being and successful growth of students have been emphasized invarious studies about the role of psychologists. This research has been conducted toinvestigate the perception and attitude of female students towards the role andeffectiveness of psychologists The present research method was a qualitative case studytype. The research has been conducted by using a Likert questionnaire including items toevaluate the students' perception of the role of psychologists in supporting growth,preventing potential challenges and promoting mental well-being on ۳۰۰ female studentsof Kermanshah city randomly in Pors-Line format. The data was analyzed usingdescriptive statistics analysis methods based on the percentage of data frequency. Lessthan ۶۰% of the participants have showed a positive attitude towards the role ofpsychologists in preventing challenges and promoting well-being. The answers have hada significant agreement with the statements related to the effectiveness of psychologists indealing with emotional and social issues. The findings have showed the continuousinvestment need in psychological interventions and services and the importance of the roleof psychologists in developing well-being, successful growth, and growth-orientedprevention among female students. Also it has showed the importance of active interactionbetween psychologists and students in promoting effective coping strategies to mentalwell-being.
