چکیده مقاله:

In this study, the effect of different levels of salinity and density on growth parameters of Asian sea bass (Lates calcalifer) was investigated. So, ۳۶۹ fish with an initial weight, ۴۹±۱ grams were distributed in ۲۷ fiberglass tanks with ۳۰۰ liters capacity. The treatments were designed based on the matrix plan (۳x۳) including three levels of salinity (۲, ۱۵, and ۳۵ ppt) and in three density levels (low density (۱ kg/m۳), medium density (۲ kg/m۳), and high density (۳ kg/m۳)). Feeding was done three times a day at ۸ am, ۲ pm, and ۶ pm until satiation for ۸ weeks. At the end of the experimental period, the growth and nutrition indicators included final weight, final length, specific growth rate, daily growth percentage, body weight gain percentage, CF, HSI, VSI, food conversion ratio and survival rate were measured and recorded. The results showed that in the salinity of ۲ ppt and density of ۱ kg/m۳, the final length increased, and the final weight only changed with fluctuations in density and it was decreased with increasing density. The final length and final weight were influenced by the interaction of both variable factors. The change in the degree of density affected the liver and visceral index. Specific growth rate, daily growth percentage, and body weight gain percentage were affected by changes in density, which decreased with increasing density. Daily growth percentage and body weight gain percentage were affected by the interaction of both variable factors. The condition factor increased with increasing salinity and density. The food conversion ratio was only affected by the interaction of both variable factors. The survival rate decreased in medium salinity and high density. In conclusion, the results of this research indicate that Asian sea bass showed the best conditions in ۲ and ۱۵ ppt salinity. Also, the density of ۲ kg per cubic meter provides the best conditions for the Asian sea bass species.
