For consideration of all uncertainties in seismic demand analysis it is possible to use a set of scaled accelerograms in dynamic analysis; however, the main point which is the main objective of this paper is determination of the relation between specifications of scaled accelerograms with maximum relative displacement of the stories of concrete moment resisting frames. To this end, after designing three concrete resisting frames of 3, 9 and 08 stories so that indicating rigid, semi-rigid and ductile structure behavior, the frames were modeled in Opensees with capability of nonlinear behavior. Then, four groups of 81accelerograms with different magnitudes and the same structural conditions were selected and applied on three modeled frame in an incremental dynamic analysis. The results of incremental dynamic analysis, differentiated by the used frame and accelerogram group, were used for determination of relative displacement of frames. In overall, the results of this thesis show that the magnitude of accelerogram is an effective factor on estimated seismic demand in concrete resisting frames. A significant result of this study is that in three storey frame, the minimum magnitude group has estimated the biggest relative displacement and the highest magnitude group has estimated the least relative displacement and with increase in the number of stories, i.e. in 9 and 08 stories frames, this is completely vice versa which is due to occurrence of resonance phenomenon.The font to this section is (Times New Roman 00pt).The position of the title in this section is 081 mm from the top of the page or upper edge.
